Our approach

Hopify Inc. respects your privacy. This policy explains what information may be collected when you visit this website and how it may be used.

Information you provide

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address, company and message. We use it only to respond to your inquiry and maintain relevant business correspondence.

Website information

Our hosting provider may process limited technical information, including IP address, browser type, device type and request logs, to deliver the site, maintain security and diagnose reliability issues. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not currently set advertising cookies or use behavioural advertising. If analytics are added later, this policy will be updated to describe them.

Retention and safeguards

We retain correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed for business, legal or security purposes. No internet service can promise absolute security, but we use reasonable measures appropriate to the information involved.

Your choices

You may ask about, correct or request deletion of personal information you have provided to us, subject to applicable legal requirements.

YouTube API Services

Hopify Inc. operates an internal publishing tool, Cosmos Up Close Publisher, for its own YouTube channel, Cosmos Up Close. The tool uses YouTube API Services to upload the channel's own videos, set their titles, descriptions, captions and visibility, and read the channel's own analytics. It is used only by Hopify Inc. staff and is not offered to the public. Anyone using it is bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

The tool stores a Google authorization token on the staff member's own computer so it can act on the channel. It does not collect, store or share YouTube data about other users, does not use YouTube data for advertising, and does not sell or pass it to third parties. Stored tokens and local logs can be deleted at any time by the staff member, and the tool's access to a Google Account can be revoked at any time from the Google security settings page.
